Now that Comic Con Northern Ireland has officially arrived, I can finally show you a little more of what’s inside my Yuletide Tales collections! 👀

I’ve spent so much time coming up with the ideas, phrases and little details for these, so seeing them finally out in the world has been such a special feeling. 🤍

There are 5 tags in each collection, each finished with a ribbon and designed to be added to your Christmas wrapping, kept as a little keepsake or hung proudly on your tree. 🎄✨

And yes… I’ll definitely be putting mine on my own tree! 😂🤍

As someone who has attended so many Monopoly Events over the years, getting to have my own stall at one feels like a genuine dream come true. I’ve been looking forward to this for SO long, and I honestly cannot wait to finally be on the other side of the table! 🎨✨

I cannot wait to meet you all, chat about all things fandom and share what I’ve been working so hard on over the past few months. 🤍

I’ve been SO excited to finally start sharing the process behind this painting! 🤍

This is Part 1, where I’m starting with the background and bringing the Shire to life, layer by layer. 🌳🌲

I wanted to show a little more of the process this time, so I’ve put together these tiny one-second clips to show how it all slowly came together. From the very first layers of colour to the little details beginning to appear… ✨

There are 150 hours behind the finished painting, so there’s quite a journey to see! 🥹

A very special one for Comic Con Northern Ireland 💚

I cannot wait to bring Yoda along to my very first Monopoly Events Comic Con! ✨

This was my very first Star Wars painting, and he still remains one of my personal favourites. There was only one scene I wanted to paint him in — my favourite Yoda moment from Revenge of the Sith. 🌿⚔️💚

The countdown is officially on for Comic Con Northern Ireland! 🎨✨

I honestly cannot wait to take part in my very first Monopoly Events Comic Con! It’s such a huge milestone for me, and I’m so excited to bring my artwork along. 🥹

I’ll be bringing plenty of my classic Miniature Artworks, including some of the newer pieces I’ve recently photographed and haven’t had the chance to show off properly yet!

And… there may also be another little limited edition surprise making its debut at Comic Con. 👀🤫

I’m keeping that one under wraps for now, but I cannot wait for you to see it! 🎁

What a night! 🤍

Last night at LNA with @rottenapple_events was honestly such a lovely one. I’ve been quite sick for the last week or so, so I was a little nervous about heading along, but I’m so glad I did because I had the best time surrounded by the best people. 🥹

Everyone was incredibly supportive, and I’m so grateful to every single person who took the time to browse my work, stop for a chat, or simply pop in to support local.
What a fabulous event, venue and crowd! 🌿✨

And of course, C-3PO and R2-D2 came along for the evening too. 🤖✨

After what feels like forever of teasing little glimpses of this painting, I can finally share the finished piece with you!

This is by far the longest I’ve ever spent on a painting, taking me 150 hours from beginning to end. It has been one of the biggest challenges I’ve taken on so far, but also one of the most rewarding. There are so many tiny details hidden throughout this piece that I couldn’t wait to finally show you.

For this post, I’m showing the Miniature Artwork version, complete with its coloured border, so you’ll notice that a little of the very top of the original painting is cropped. The full artwork is available as a Miniature Artwork and as fine art giclée prints on my website.

I’ve put so much love into this one, and I’m genuinely so excited to finally have it out in the world. 🥹🌿

I’m so excited to share the first two events that are now confirmed in my September calendar.

On Thursday 3rd September, I’ll be at the Late Night Market, followed by The Sunflower on Sunday 6th September! 🌻🧝🏼‍♀️🧚🏼‍♀️

I’ll be bringing along my fine art giclée prints and Miniature Artworks, and I’d absolutely love to see some familiar faces (and meet plenty of new ones too!).

There is still so much more to come throughout September, and I can’t wait to share everything with you when the time is right… 👀

A little darker, a little more mysterious… and still one of my favourites to look back on.

A little Fleadh week reflection 🤍

Last week was certainly a bit of an up and down one when it came to markets, but I don’t want to dwell on the difficult moments. Instead, I want to focus on some of the really wonderful parts of the week.

Belfast Castle, The Sunflower and The Beehive were absolute highlights for me. 🌿

Not necessarily because of the markets themselves, but because of the amazing people I had the pleasure of sharing them with.

I met some genuinely wonderful people throughout the week, from fellow traders to creatives and small business owners, and once again I was reminded just how much incredible talent we have here in our wee country. 🤍

There is something really special about markets that you don’t always see from the outside. It’s not just about sales. It’s about the conversations, the friendships, discovering new artists and makers, supporting someone’s dream and simply spending a day surrounded by people who have poured so much of themselves into what they create.

So, if you see a local market happening near you, go along.

Support the small businesses.

Support the independent artists.

Support the makers, creatives and people brave enough to put their work out into the world.

Every purchase, conversation, follow, share and kind word genuinely makes a difference.

And to everyone I met last week — thank you. It was a pleasure. 🤍

My miniature Gandalf artwork is now available on my website, and I couldn’t think of a better piece to share today.

I’ve always loved creating artwork inspired by the stories that have stayed with me over the years, and Gandalf is certainly one of those characters.

I’m also incredibly excited to share that @miniconireland announced yesterday that I’ll be creating the official Artist Initiative poster for Danny Webb, celebrating his role as Morse in Alien 3 for Navan Comic Con this November.

It’s honestly such an exciting opportunity, and I can’t wait to start bringing the artwork to life. Thank you so much to Mini Con Ireland for trusting me with this project — I feel incredibly honoured.

In the meantime, if you’d like to add a little piece of Middle-earth to your own collection, my miniature Gandalf artwork is now available on my website. 🌿🤍

And one last thing... I only realised afterwards that Danny has voice roles in Elden Ring and Warhammer 40,000! As someone who absolutely loves gaming, that’s honestly blown my mind a little. I can’t wait to create something worthy of him! 🧙🏼‍♂️🛸👽✨🎮

I honestly can’t believe I’m writing this, but my website is officially live!

What started as a dream to share my artwork with others has slowly grown into something I never imagined. From late nights painting, my very first market, meeting so many wonderful people along the way, and now having a place to call my own online — it still doesn’t quite feel real.

A little side note... Every part of this website has been built by me from a completely blank canvas. Every page, every layout, every photograph, every piece of writing — it has all been created from scratch. It has taken a lot of late nights, plenty of trial and error, and a huge amount of hard work and determination to create a space that truly felt like Emma Robinson Art. It's been a massive learning curve, but one I'm incredibly proud of. 🤍

July, you were one to remember. 🤍

From artisan markets and my very first Comic Con, to sunny days at Belfast Castle, afternoons at the beach, time with family, painting, making jewellery, meeting wonderful new people at a workshop, and even seeing Alter Bridge for the second time... it’s been a month full of creativity, adventure and memories. 🧚🏼‍♀️💎🏰🧝🏼‍♀️🌻
